Welcome to Torre House

Torre House has joined with the prestigious Mount Olivet Nursing Home in Preston, and Kingsmount Residential Home in Oldway, and has just completed a 15-month re-build to become the first nursing home to be registered in Torbay for nearly 20 years.

Torre House, like its sister homes, is a comprehensively equipped Private Nursing Home high on the hill in Chelston with views over Torqay to Torbay itself. An impressive Vicorian mansion block, Torre House was originally part of the Singer family estate.

Torre House is registered under the terms of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and the information in this document covers the "Statement of Purpose" required under the Act. Numbers at the bottom of a page refer to the Statement of Purpose requirements as set out in the Definition section of the Act.
